Remember a pet
Keeping alive memories of a precious pet
At Guide Dogs we understand just how much a faithful companion can mean to someone. So we always appreciate it when people choose to remember a beloved pet by making a donation to Guide Dogs.
If you’d like to remember a faithful animal companion and support Guide Dogs at the same time, you can set up a tribute fund to collect donations and name a puppy in their honour.
When you make a donation in memory of your much loved animal, your pet's name can be inscribed in our Paws for Thought Book of Remembrance, alongside our own cherished guide dogs.

Margaret Millar made a donation in memory of her pet dog Sweep.
Sweep was a black and white cocker spaniel who came into our lives as an eight week old pup. He was a lively and inquisitive puppy who loved children. He enjoyed travelling, visiting new places and loved an adventure. He is sadly missed as a dear friend and loyal companion and he will never be forgotten. In memory of Sweep I chose to make a donation to Guide Dogs and I was so pleased to be able to include a dedication to him in the Paws for Thought memorial book so that everyone could see what a special dog he was. I am also enjoying being able to sponsor a guide dog puppy in his memory, a wonderful reminder of the many happy years we spent together.
