NewsHRH Princess Alexandra has officially open Guide Dogs’ world-class Guide Dog Training School, in Forfar. The Princess was joined by Lord Lieutenant of Angus and Provost of Angus, as well as Guide Dogs staff, volunteers, supporters and dogs of all ages to celebrate this milestone event. Princess Alexandra, patron of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, toured the flagship training school, which incorporates the latest ideas in environmental and dog care and welfare facilities, taken from dog training organisations around the world.  The UK Vision Strategy is a ground-breaking VISION2020 UK initiative to develop a unified plan for action on all issues relating to sight loss and eye health.
