For the Love of Dogs was designed and painted by professional artist Jess Perrin.
Design summary
About her design inspiration, Jess said, “Having recently got a puppy of my own, I’ve been thrown head first into all things dog! My design features lots of dogs, some with their owners, their favourite toys and their little quirks! My style is very fun and playful, both in colour and subject matter.”
Sensory items
We asked our artists to come up with a scent and a touch item that relates to their design to give a multi-sensory perspective to their concept. Some of these items will be incorporated into our sighted guide and sensory tours. Jess's sensory items are:
- Touch item: Squeaky dog toy.
- Scent item: Freshly cut grass.

The sculpture is located at Crossrail Place, Quayside, Level -1, by the entrance to Everyman Cinema.
