Inspired by our life-changing dogs

Our life-changing dogs inspired the design of our Paws on the Wharf sculpture. Including one particular London-based guide dog named Theia.

Meet our sculptures

A blue guide dog sculpture with purple and blue spots. Some of the spots are raised, forming letters from the Braille alphabet.
Dot to Dog
A guide dog sculpture with a dark blue background, covered in different sized golden hearts.
Hearts of Gold
White guide dog sculpture with one green ear and one orange ear, plus brightly coloured mini dogs painted all over, featuring each dog's name in braille underneath.
Ben
A guide dog sculpture covered in small tiles making a mosaic. The dogs chest is covered in multicoloured tiles that form a heart that then spreads out across it's shoulders.
Trusty
A black guide dog sculpture wearing a red collar and a gold dog coat with different coloured rosettes. The rosettes contain words that describe people's dogs, such as, loyal, trust and partner.
Rosetta
A yellow guide dog sculpture. The dog's chest is covered in white flowers. The dog's lower half is covered with vibrant flowers on a green background.
Herby's Tale
A black and white swirl patterned guide dog sculpture. The black swirl pattern is slightly textured, whereas the white swirls are smooth.
Guide Lines
A realistic yellow guide dog sculpture with a white Guide Dogs harness. On the dog's back are postcards of guide dogs and their owners from different parts of the UK.
Guide Dog Adventures
A cream coloured guide dog sculpture covered in a colourful pattern featuring dogs, their owners, toys and some dog-related words, such as 'lie down', 'woof' and 'good'.
For the Love of Dogs
A guide dog sculpture that looks like a green dinosaur with textured scales and has horns growing out of its nose, ears and neck. The dog has a red collar and red and gold harness with yellow eyes.
Jurassic Bark
A guide dog sculpture covered with different faces of famous people past and present with lived experience of sight loss. Some of the people include Judith E. Heumann, Dr Abraham Nemeth, Claude Monet and Ray Charles.
Visionaries
A guide dog sculpture wearing a gold collar with a purple head fading to a blue coloured body. The body is covered in colourful flora and fauna and features Canary Wharf cityscape illustrations.
Paws for Thought
A guide dog sculpture covered with a colourful and vibrant geometric design.
Poncho
A guide dog sculpture painted light blue and is covered in flowers and plants. Hidden in the foliage are illustrations of dogs.
Where's Theia
Yellow guide dog sculpture with different phrases written on it. The dog has blue, green and orange painted scenes of people walking with their guide dogs.
Cobalt
Painted guide dog sculpture with a multi-coloured metal futuristic patchwork robot dog design. 'Dog Brown' is written across the dog's shoulders with rivets detailing the words in braille..
Bark to the Future
A gold guide dog sculpture with a multi-coloured floral and nature pattern including butterflies and birds. The dog has a red collar and a yellow harness with black handles.
Life is Golden
A guide dog sculpture with brightly coloured dots on a pale background.
Spectrum

Day off at the Beach

Straight On

Baskerville

A guide dog sculpture with an abstract painting on its hind legs of a person bending over their knees, but being held up by small figures. There is a person's face on the dog's back and they are holding out a hand. The dog has blue, green and grey swirls on its upper body.
Hope and Resilience

A multicoloured spray painted guide dog sculpture, covered in paint drips, and graffitied motifs such as a heart, lips and butterflies.
Every Man has their Day

Painted guide dog sculpture with a black collar covered in with bright multicoloured swirls and patchwork like a knitted wool pattern.
A Tangle with Colour

A purple guide dog sculpture covered with stars and constellations of other dogs who were former guide dogs. Their names are written beside each constellation.

Meet Theia

Theia is one of the inspirations behind our guide dog sculpture design. Theia, a yellow Labrador crossed golden retriever, is supported by and was named by employees at Citi. Former Citi employee, William, was also the volunteer Puppy Raiser who cared for Theia before she went on to formal guide dog training. Theia is now transforming the life of her human partner, Lorraine, supporting her with mobility and independence.
