About Ben Jonson and Jill Busby

Ben Jonson Primary School is a three-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets. They said, “We are an inclusive school, and we love art – that is why we wanted to get involved in the project. We followed the ideas to create mind maps around the themes of ‘vision’ and ‘dogs’ (which we voted on as a class). We then came up with our class idea, and the next week in art, we put our ideas into action and created our class project.”

Jill has designed and painted several sculptures for Wild in Art charity trails since 2020. Her art style is colourful and bold, inspired by Pop Art and now developing an expressive, impressionistic twist. She runs an art club for junior school-aged children, sharing her art and craft skills, inspiring them to use their imagination and experiment with different materials. Jill also works with schools - creating 3D indoor scenes and murals, and hosting workshops. Primarily, Jill is a Graphic Designer, previously working in packaging and corporate design. She is now very happy to combine all these skills and get messy every day.
