How to use Tiltify
Tiltify is the digital fundraising platform we’re using for the 250 Challenge. Find out more about how to set up your fundraising page and use Tiltify’s different features below.
- Visit our 250 Challenge page on Tiltify and click the ‘Start fundraising’ button: You will be prompted to create a Tiltify account, or sign in if you already have one. Then just follow the simple steps on screen to create your 250 Challenge fundraising page.
- Don't forget to publish your page: this is really important or you won’t be able to start accepting donations! Only publish once you are happy with your page’s name, as this can’t be changed later on, and your initial fundraising goal, as this can’t be decreased. (You can, however, increase your goal as donations start coming in, so you could start with a lower number that you’re comfortable with, and then add stretch goals along the way.)
- Add rewards, milestones and polls: Tiltify has lots of great features to help you engage your community, encourage donations, and ultimately hit your fundraising goals! Visit Tiltify’s tutorials page to find out more about different features.
- Ask your supporters to amplify your fundraising: Your friends, family and community can visit your fundraising page and create their own personal Amplify links to share it far and wide!
How to get started with streaming
It’s up to you if you want to stream your 250 Challenge, but it can be a great way to promote your fundraiser and encourage donations! Check out these resources and top tips for how to set up a charity stream and make it a success.
- Download our Guide Dogs streamer pack.
- Twitch has a helpful FAQ page that covers the basics of streaming on the platform, including how to get started. You can also livestream on YouTube.
- Integrate your stream with your Tiltify page – this allows your supporters to donate easily to your fundraiser while watching you! Find out how to do this for Twitch, and for YouTube.
- Overlays – here’s how to add an overlay to your stream directly through Tiltify, so you can set up alerts, gifs and sounds for when someone donates live. You can also download and use our Guide Dogs branded overlays below!
- Check out some of Tiltify’s top tips on holding a successful charity stream on Twitch and YouTube.
- If streaming on Twitch or YouTube isn’t right for you, don’t forget lots of social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook offer a ‘live video’ feature so you can share your challenge in real time! You can also record yourself and simply post a video later.
